Where is the Love?

1Corinthians 13:1-8
1John 4:7-12

Right now there is more skeptisim about church & church ppl than ever. We are on trial. We are viewed as an enemy ..where is the love? Whoever does not love does not love God. God loves us even though he knows us! He loves us inspite of us so how dare we not love one another? Gods picture of love is being distorted, like old school tv sets that u had to bang on the side & adjust the antena to see the picture clearly. There's nothing more frustrated than a fuzzy picture! Right now God is banging on the side of tv set trying to get us to get it together b/c his picture of love is distorted.

It's time for us to fix the picture! Marriage is the ultimate expression of love. It's the one love u truly get to pick. Without love u are NOTHING!! 1corinthians 13:3 Women love at a deeper level than men which is why it says husbands LOVE! Women RESPECT!

Love is:
-1corinthians 13:4 = (patience) Marrital love is an enduring love. U see some things that are not so great and u choose to love anyway. U should love each other more the longer your together. UNDERSTANDING! There's some things that just aren't right or wrong it's just "John doe". Can u agree b/c of understanding regardless of if it's right or wrong? If not it represents immaturity. Change b/c u understand & not b/c u agree.

-Kind= u should care about each other. U should be considerate! How is this going to affect this other person. U should be nice & sweet 2 eachother! Don't be rude..

-Strong=marrital love is stronger than pride!!!!! Serve! Serving should not break u! If making a sandwich 4 ur man breaks u down as a woman then ur not a strong woman. Men wearing a pink shirt does not make u gay! Folding clothes or doing dishes does not jeopardize ur manhood.

-Forgiving= love is not easily angered. Love does NOT stay mad!!! Having ppl sleep on the couch, no sex in 6days? Should not hold ppl. Speaking but not TALKING to eachother. The Lord doesn't have an angel out side of the church doors like "nope u can't come in today cuz the Lord ain't talkin to you for two weeks!! U know what u did". Look for truth dont allow the enemy to get u to focused on the pain that was caused or the smaller details in a situation. Don't keep records of wrongs.

-Protects= Cover!! Men don't like there dirt or business out there..cover them. Men expose urself to leadership, don't put ur wife in a situation where the only way she can cover u is to out u. Back eachother up. Defend! U may have to defend ur wife to ur family. In-laws simetimes become out-laws for getting involved in ur relationships. Ur marrital love is more important! "For a man shall leave his father & mother 2 find his wife & they shall become 1 FLESH!"

-TRUST/HOPE= have faith in God! Marriage works! God created the process & he knew what he was doing! Believe in ur partner, ur brain messings with ur information. Don't accuse eachother of lying, believe the BEST.

-Perseveres= lasts/endures. It will get better keep on running. A good marriage has grace & can survive mistakes. Even extrem mistakes!!
