More & more ready

Ephesians 5:28-33
Genisis 2:15-24

Adam has no bills, no enemies, no issues..everything was set for him.
Even still Jesus said he's still missing something. It's not good for
man to be alone. God didn't make us to be lonely or depressed or sick
or on medications; he made us to be strong & blessed. God made a
suitible helper for Adam but b4 that he had Adam address the animals.
B4 ur blessings animals will come!! (Dogs/issues). Jesus made Eve from
Adams rib b/c u must have a partner who is bone of ur bone, on the
same page, compatible b/c then u have favor. What we see however is a
bunch of unequaly yolked ppl. We know opposites attract b/c Paula
Abdule told us so but she is still single! We have seen couples who
are equally attractive or equally busted or couples that make I think
now how did he end up with her or vise versa. Girl what are u doing
with this loser? Unequally yolked..if ur a jerk, marry another jerk
but don't doom a good person to ur disfunction or ur mess. Alot of ppl
believe that their relationships were better b4 marriage but don't let
the enemy put that in ur head. It's due to being un equally yolked.
Marriage is a picture of the union of Christ & his church. There are
ppl who look like they have a good relationship but it takes work. In
most relationships there is usually one person who is more difficult
to live with than the other. The enemy is determined to mess up the
picture. Many of us right now are dealing with the consequences or
reprocussions from decisions that we made in Middle School. We are
making life & death decisions especially with our bodies.

Ur not ready to be married if:
5) ur not open & u don't listen. "if ur ignant" & u like not knowing
ur not ready. Men need to be ready to CHANGE & learn & listen. A guy
will marry b/c he like who u are at that moment. They will be at the
alter thinking dang I hope she didn't trick me! I want her to stay
just like this. Women are like a combination lock on ur locker at
school when u first get it u struggle to open but by the end of the
school year u get it ooen without looking. Woman get with men b/c they
want to change u. They look at men and think, I can work with this,
they see a mans potential...men are a project to a women. They want
their men to grow, they don't want u to be the same man they met in
highschool. Men test women to see how flexible they are so women don't
let ur mouth write a check that u can't cash b/c then u fail the test.
"Write in pencil not pen".

6) if ur not a giver ur not ready for marriage. It's not for selfish
ppl, it's better to give than receive. Once u find someone who meets
ur needs u should be thinking "can I match that". It's not a
competition however it's a partnership where u are ready & willing to
give. It should embarrass u if u feel like "what am I bringing to the
table." Match eacothers level of sacrifice.

7) if ur not spiritual ur not ready. Statistics show as this country
has gotten less spiritual the divorce rate has gone up. Marriage is
something God created & God needs to be apart of it. Be strong in ur
inner person! It's not for weak ppl b/c it takes spiritual inner
strength. Men are visual/physical beings. Don't focus on the outside &
miss the bigger picture. Sex clouds ur judgement & this is one of the
reasons u should not have sex outside of marriage. That doesn't mean
get a ugly girl..love & lust ur wife. U shouldn't have to pray in the
spirit to make love to ur wife. It's spiritual but it's not
spiritual..there's a time for blessed assurance & there's a time for
Luther or Debarge or Stevie Wonder. But men be lead by the spirit so u
can focus on not just the physical. Ladies 1Peter3:3-6 Marriage is
going to test ur faith! Ladies to follow anothers leadership u have to
have faith in God. Pray to God to work on ur husband when u don't
agree. Just b/c ur right doesn't mean ur out of order so control ur
tongue. To stay in order with God ladies then at times u have to put
ur hope & trust in God & not give way to fear. However ladies don't
submit to someone who doesn't love u above himself.

Marriage is the only thing u commit to do in ur life 4ever, but there
is no training for it. So Pastor Andy is training us to be ready.
